*2007 TOURNAMENT RESULTS*
	Congratulations to SOFC fencer Rory Dwyer, now double United States Fencing Association Pacific Coast Champion! Following is the press release and below are pictures of Rory and the Pasadena tournament. Rory Dwyer of Ashland's Southern Oregon Fencing Center became a double Pacific Coast Champion at the United States Fencing Association Y-10 fencing tournament held in Pasadena California, March 17 and 18. Rory, Age 10 was the gold medalist in both the Foil and Epee events. Fencers from Oregon, Washington, California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah were in attendance After a long and tiring drive from Ashland to Pasadena with his parents Brian and Karen Dwyer, Rory got off to a slow start in the Foil Championships for ages 10 and under, placing fourteenth in the preliminary pools. That was enough to qualify him for the direct elimination round of 16 fencers, however. In the direct elimination round, Rory caught fire and won all of his bouts, emerging as the new Y-10 Pacific Coast Foil Champion. Excited by his Foil victory, Rory decided to enter the Y-10 Epee Championships on Sunday the 18th. Rory's parents purchased one Epee and borrowed another so that he could enter. In the direct elimination round he again won all his bouts and became a double USFA Pacific Coast Champion.
